LET THE GAMES BEGIN : Good Code Hackathon Begins Today! Resources + More To Help You Build

Hello Hackers,

The Good Code Hackathon officially starts now! Check out our pro tips below so you can start building an app that will win you a share of $50k.

Do Not Pass Go

The first thing you’ll need is a free DocuSign developer account to get you started with the DocuSign APIs. You’ll also want to take a look around the DocuSign Developer Center where you’ll find tutorials, livestream schedules and more to get you building.

Get Twitchy with Us!

Join us on Twitch where we’ll be hosting livestream help and hangout sessions throughout the hackathon. We’ll be there to help you master DocuSign API, Esri’s ArcGIS, and deepdive into the Jane Goodall Institute challenge. We’re kicking off our Twitch streams today at 10:30 AM PDT with a Good Code focused Getting Started with the DocuSign APIs hosted by DocuSign guru, Larry Kluger

That’s not all, lookout for a crazy fun trivia night and a speed coding challenge where we’ll be handing out some awesome prizes! Don’t forget to follow us on Twitch and turn on notifications, so you don’t miss a stream.

Jane Goodall-the Info You Need To Know

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, the full details and resources to build your best Jane Goodall Institute challenge app are now available in the Devpost Resources tab. Not enough? Don’t worry, we got you! We’re hosting a special Jane Goodall Institute livestream on Twitch Thursday, July 15th at 9:00 AM PDT with special guest Dr. Lilian Pintea, VP of Conservation Science at JGI, who will overview their challenge and answer all of your burning questions.

Be a Slack(er)

Join the Good Code Hackathon Slack community to reach DocuSign Developer and Jane Goodall Institute reps who can answer your questions, get Good Code Hackathon announcements, meet your fellow hackers and find teammates.

Whew, we know, that was a lot but now you’re ready! Good luck, happy hacking and we’ll see you over on Twitch and Slack!
