Non-Profit Inclusion

I would like to know if I have to engage a real Non-Profit in my project and take their approval/resources? or I can use a Dummy Non-Profit ( e.g. A school for Poor Children or Forest conservation Group) for my project.

Hi @Saleem & @Kaustubh, I answered this inquiry over on Slack as well for Kaustubh. Ideally, yes you would engage the non-profit in your project. However, we know that's not always possible but you do need to build for an actual nonprofit. Our judges will vet each nonprofit to verify they are a certified 501(c)3 organization and/or the equivalent in their home country. Builds for "Dummy" non profits will be disqualified. Please review the Rules tab for additional information, as well as the Hackathon overview page. Thank you!
